The
function of the Scientific Council is to advise on current developments
and future trends with respect to environmental protection and
sustainable development law and policy in Europe and in the world, and
on the activities the association may undertake in response to them;
review the overall scientific quality of the work performed by the
association; review drafts of specific publications upon request;
assist the association to achieve greater visibility so that it can
implement its programme effectively; and recommend the appointment of
Fellows.
